Reformer Yin / Reformer Deep Stretch
session offers a beautifully nourishing experience, blending the precision and support of the Pilates Reformer with the meditative stillness and long holds of Yin yoga.
This hybrid practice invites you to slow down, soften, and tend to the deep connective tissues of the body—fascia, joints, and ligaments—while calming the nervous system and cultivating inner stillness.
May be to Gentle Music, Sound Bowls or Silence
Root into stillness • Lengthen with breath • Restore from within
This soulful session draws on the deeply restorative principles of Yin yoga while harnessing the intelligent support of the Reformer bed. Through long-held, passive stretches—using the carriage, springs, footbar and props to ease the body into surrender—you’ll gently target the hips, spine, shoulders and legs, releasing held tension from the deeper layers of fascia and connective tissue.
Expect moments of silence, breath-led awareness, and mindful alignment, allowing you to meet your edge without force. As the body unwinds, the mind softens, offering a sacred pause in the rhythm of life.
Ideal for those feeling tight, tired, or emotionally overloaded, this class is especially supportive during seasonal transitions, times of change, or recovery. Each session includes a closing integration—whether breath, stillness, or reflection—to help you return to your day feeling grounded, open, and rebalanced.
Benefits:
Deep release for tight hips, spine, shoulders, and hamstrings
Nervous system regulation and emotional calming
Enhanced flexibility and fascial hydration
Gentle support for joint mobility and postural decompression
Inner reconnection and body-based mindfulness
You’ll leave feeling… lengthened, soothed, and spacious—like you’ve had a massage for both body and soul.
